Brazil is known for many things throughout the world and they are most commonly known for their soccer success. They also have beautiful beaches, a spectacular carnival, and its home to some of the most beautiful women in the world. Gisele Buchen is one of such women who walked the catwalk for the late Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs. Also a former Victoria’s secrets Angel, and former face for Elle, Vogue and Harpers Bazzar. The face of Chloe Rachael Zimmerman and Isabeli Fontana, have been inspired by such top models as Gisele Buchen, who have inspired such up and coming catwalk talent.Supermodels aren’t the only things to be establishing Brazil into this beauty craze phenomenon. Along with the supermodels comes the many famous household designers who play a pivotal role in bringing through these hot beauties from Brazil.

Like, Rio De Janerio born, Daniella Issa Heleayel, founder of the luxury designer Issa London, is one of the most successful designers to come straight out of Brazil. She revealed her trade mark piece is ‘effortless glamour and her signature belted jersey dresses will take you straight from work to cocktails whilst making women feel confident, comfortable and sexy.’ She is one of Kate Middleton’s favourite designers and boasts dressing the likes of Madonna and Scarlett Johansson amongst her career highlights. Her autumn winter 2012 collection inspirations are described as, “Trans-Siberian journey, From Russia with Love and Russian Tsars.”

Nevertheless it isn’t just about London, New York, Paris and Milan Fashion Week, Rio De Janerio and Sao Paulo have just hosted their Autumn Winter 2012 collections and even though Brazilians do best in swimwear and denim, they have demolished the stereotypes and clich├ęs to embrace more global aesthetic. This is where Brazilian models and designers unite to create an explosion of creativity and show the rest of the destinations how it should be done. With Sao Paulo Fashion Week, the biggest fashion event in South America to date, it reached its 32nd edition on the 19th-24th January this year. It hosted 29 shows over the course of six days, with main brands and names such as Juiliana Jabour, Cavalera, UMA, and saw the Burberry Brit Rosie Huntington-Whiteley make her return to the catwalk by replacing Raquel Zimmerman for the label Animale. The collection saw moody colour palette, velvet accents, fluffy fur cot and the inspiration saw aristocrats and Russian Czars. There was incredible key season trends to come straight of this seasons Sao Paulo runway, with Alexandre Herchcovitch for one. He completed cycles of ready to wear looks with unlikely materials such as lace and technical nylon to create a clean lady like silhouette. With neutral colour of shades of brown, plum and pumpkin which all looked effortless and simple but effectively eye-catchingly with an overall solid bold look. He also brought forward a metallic theme to compliment the lace and jackets and made gold into an acceptable easy to use colour. Overall Brazil needs not to be underestimated with their powerful on trend looks and outrageously gorgeous women, together combined will leave them unstoppable.
